Juicers and Mixers


Fresh fruit and vegetable juices are some of the healthiest and most refreshing drinks you can serve. They can be presented on their own or form part of a mix or cocktail of other ingredients, but however you serve them, you need juicers that can extract every last drop of juice.

Even to squeeze enough orange juice for one glass by hand can be very time consuming, which is why an electric juicer is an essential part of any professional kitchen. With a good quality juicing machine from our range you can process larger amounts of fruit, without wasting a drop, and all in a fraction of the time.

Juicers are particularly useful for citrus fruits. Simply slice in two and place the sliced section into the rotating part of the machine. This will squeeze all the juice from the fruit and collect it in the dish below. It won’t tire your arm out and you can get through high volumes of fruit in a short space of time.

However, it’s not just citrus and soft fruit that can benefit from juicing. There are other juicers that extract the liquid from all sorts of fruits and vegetables, including harder vegetables like carrots. Unlike a blender, a juicer separates the liquid from the pulp so it’s ready to use in juices and for mixing.

There are two types of juicers used for non-citrus fruit. These are centrifugal and masticating. Masticating juicers use a low speed rotation to crush the food and extract the juice. Because there is little oxidation, the juice stays fresher for longer, making it better for use with leafy greens. The centrifugal juicer uses a higher velocity to separate the juice.
